Tim and I are in the process of framing artwork we've collected over the past few years. There's a blank wall in our new place that is perfect for a gallery display. I've been scouring Pinterest for some inspiration and here are a few of my favorites...

Art Shanty Projects
Maybe ice fishing isn't enough to lure you onto a frozen lake, I don't blame you...but the Art Shanty Project on Medicine Lake is back for it's 3rd year and definitely worth checking out if you live in the Twin Cities! This engaging and extremely unique event is comprised of artists who turn ice houses into interactive exhibits exploring how the public space of a frozen lake can expand notions of what art can be. This four week exhibition is going on now through February 4th.

The framing of this pic is so creative! I just might have to do this with one of my own pics of the leaning tower :)

Lovely Laundry
The photography project Intimacy Under the Wires first started in Tel Aviv and has since brought Israeli photographer Sivan Askayo to cities in Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina, etc. I love the varying perspectives that capture the movement of the wind in the clothes.

New Creative Space
There has been a lot of change around here the last couple weeks :: the biggest being our move over New Year's weekend! We're mostly settled, but still in the midst of organizing some things...namely, all of my art supplies! This Sunday I will finally have a chance to arrange my little art corner, yay! Once that's done, new designs won't be far behind!
Here's a BEFORE shot of how the space looks right now...
