New Furry Family Member!

Some exciting news!

Tim and I adopted a new member of the family from Minnesota Sheltie Rescue one week ago today!

We decided to name her Nisse (nih-suh)

She is just under a year old and is the sweetest little girl!

She loves to snuggle and roll in the snow.

Is always seeking out cozy spots,

and loves a good ol' tummy rub! :)

It's true love ♥

(my apologies for the lack of posts as a result of our new furry family member!)

Hola Mamas

My feather print was included in a post over at blog.holamama.es
Oh how I love the wonders of the world wide web! :)

LOVE

Wishing you a happy Valentine's day!
I'm cooking what I hope will be a delish Valentine's dinner for Tim and I.
What are your plans?

White Out

This time of year is usually reminiscent of the scene depicted below in

Monet's Snow at Argenteuil.

“Snow at Argenteuil” Claude Monet, 1875. National Gallery of Art, London, UK

Instead, it looks more similar to Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth

"Christina's World" Andrew Wyeth 1948. MOMA, New York, NY

....the lack of snow is bumming me out.

Hope you have a happy weekend!

Treasury Love

This past week my prints have been featured in five treasuries on Etsy :: lucky me! :)
I hope you're having a lovely week and enjoying this unseasonably warm weather!

Art-Cum-Furniture Deux

They've done it again...I spotted this chair on Anthropologie's website the other day and haven't stopped thinking about it since. Could be quite cute in the right place. I would especially love creating my own version...

Gallery Wall

Tim and I are in the process of framing artwork we've collected over the past few years. There's a blank wall in our new place that is perfect for a gallery display. I've been scouring Pinterest for some inspiration and here are a few of my favorites...
