L'Estampe originale: A Celebrated Album of Original Printmaking, 1893-95

Beginning this Saturday, March 24 2012 - Sunday, December 12, 2012, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts is showing an exhibition of the series L'Estampe originale (The Original Print). Commissioned by French publisher André Marty between 1893 and 1895, this series of 95 limited-edition prints by both prominent and lesser known artists and illustrators.
Among the contributors were Pierre Bonnard, Émile Bernard, Henri Rivière, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Jules Chéret, Camille Pissarro, Paul Sérusier, Joseph Pennell, and many others.
If you're in the Twin Cities I strongly recommend checking out this show - I can't wait to see it for myself!
